From Pete Atkins on Facebook: May 29th marked two years since we lost the great Dennis Etchison. Thanks to former President Lisa Morton and current President John Palisano, the Horror Writers Association has endowed a scholarship for young writers in his name. Applications are now open for those in grades 10-12. Teaching and encouraging younger writers was always the second string to Dennis’s bow, and I think he’d be thrilled by this.
